Materials, print, and finish options

Kraft paper comes in a few weights and finishes that change how it prints and feels. 30# natural kraft is the standard lightweight wrap most bakeries and delis use. 40# kraft is sturdier — better for shipping wraps and gift packaging. White / bleached kraft prints brighter and shows colors more accurately than natural kraft, which has a brown / amber base tone that shifts color. For food contact we recommend FDA-rated natural kraft with food-grade inks printed flexographically.

Natural (brown) kraft is the unbleached pulp — it has the warm earthy tone customers associate with bakeries, artisan food, and eco brands. Bleached kraft is the same fiber whitened to a near-white sheet — print colors come out brighter and more accurate, but it loses the natural / craft visual cue. Choose based on whether your brand wants 'natural' or 'clean' as the visual story.

Yes, but with caveats. The brown base of natural kraft will shift any photograph toward warm/amber tones. For full-color photo print, use bleached kraft. For 1-2 color logo + brand pattern on natural kraft, the warm tones work in your favor.
